Another possibility might be Greg Love and Kimberly Norris of Ft. Worth Texas.
I don't know what their status is. I hope they haven't retired too.

Candace Conti's attorney is Richard J. Simons of Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons, Address: 22274 Main St, Hayward, CA 94541 Phone: (510) 582-1080.
uh oh...
From elsewhere on JWD: " Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons has just recently shuttered its office, and Simons is planning to scale down his practice as he eyes retirement."

LizD, you are as much a HERO as everyone is telling you you are!
You opted for RIGHTEOUSNESS over cowardice and complicity. Your parents were accomplices and deserve to be PUNISHED!
thought i'd start a separate discussion on the subject.. those who know me know i'm struggling with faith; i want to believe, some days i do but it becomes difficult.. many believers say there is verifiable proof of jesus' existence outside of the bible.. please post this proof..
Because tens of thousands of children believe in "Slenderman," he MUST be real, because human beings rarely make errors.
Consider also that "Slenderman" was unknown to the generation of these children's parents. For such a shift in consciousness to have occurred so suddenly within one generation would suggest something real took place.
Iron-clad argumentation!
this guy has to have the most courage of anyone i've ever seen or balls the size of basketballs.he actually gives a good talk and has tidbits scattered about throughout his public talk with hints, suggestions, innuendos of the wt organization.i never want to go in another kingdom hall again in my life but would have made an exception just to be in this audience.
lolnotice what's going on in the audience when they realize somethings up.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqqt0y1peuu.
I don't know his specific details, but I was an MS when I gave my first public talk. That is how it was done back in the 1970s. My first public talk was also my last public talk because soon after that I learned that my congregation (Middle Village, Queens, NYC) had a pedophile who was allowed to go unpunished. I began fading soon after realizing that there was no Righteous Jehovah guiding a Pure Organization.
we all know the rate of suicide is high among jw's.
my question is this- was there some subliminal messages that encourage this.
i was a born in and my entire life i would have these thoughts that could come out of nowhere,"kill yourself.
Xanthippe is right on the mark.
As my many many friends, fans and followers know, I was in the WTB&TS cult in the period of the late 1950s through the mid-ish 1970s. During that time period, JWs were given a vitual "Ticket to Paradise" through the WT doctrine that Armageddon was due any day now ("closer than the inside of your eyelid," I used to say) AND people who died prior to Armageddon could expect to be resurrected before people who died further in the past. This "Last Out/First In" (LOFI) strategy made "theocratic sense" at the time; after all, wouldn't King Jesus want you to be there when your parents and grandparents were resurrected? Sure he would.
But the unintended effect of this was it this gave people that "Ticket to Paradise" I mentioned earlier.
Many availed themseles of this opportunity, and many others seriously considered it.
That's my observation. Your mileage may vary, but if it does, you're wrong.
when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.
i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.
also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.
Not only did Jesus NOT pre-exist, he didn't exist or "post-exist" either.
While there may - or may not - have been a historical Jewish revolutionary who was the object of a massive historical publicity campaign and con-job, there certainly NEVER was a "Son of God."
Why? Because there is NO god to "father" such a Son.
Religion is a snare and a racket - truer words were never spoken!
Only you can set you free.
hey everyone.
i don't post here often, but i lurk pretty much everyday.
i just created the following infographic based on the recent yearbook stats.
Delightful words of truth!
Nicely done!
we all know watchtower doesn't encourage their members do research for themselves.
can anyone point out any articles where it mentions this?
any help would be appreciated.
This is IRONY, isn't it?
You want HELP proving that the WTB&TS discourages research?
Searcher, assist yourself!
i'll share mine first.... i had never missed a memorial for at least a quarter of a century of my life.
i was kind of raised to believe that missing the memorial was a sin in itself.. by 2013 memorial season, i was missing most of my meetings (even though i was still technically part of my foreign language congregation), and i had just come off the pioneer list.
i still made plans to attend the memorial (god forbid if i missed that lol).. i knew that typically our memorials were around 9 pm, since we usually got last priority (being a foreign language hall and all).
NoviceLocs14 confessed, "I was kind of raised to believe that missing the memorial was a sin in itself."
This is interesting.
Did you then, or do you now, partake of the emblems as an indication that you are anointed?
I'm going to take a statistical leap and guess that your answer to that question is "No."
Which means that like hundreds of thousands of JWs around the world, you REJECT the bread and wine when it is offered.
So... do you now, or did you then, believe that it would be a SIN for you to REJECT the emblems in the privacy of your own home?
Personally, I am QUITE HAPPY to reject the emblems from the comfort of my comfy recliner in front of my glorious wide-screen TV.
